Aster
September birth flower
The aster is September’s birth flower, its name taken from the Greek word for “star” for the way its petals radiate from a golden center. It has long stood for love, patience and wisdom — and in purple, a little extra devotion. Keep it simple, or personalize it with a name or initials.
